People acting disappointed Rodgers didn’t get a final opportunity to win the game is all fine and dandy, but to state as almost fact that a QB who does not have a great 4th quarter come from behind record was almost sure to win it is a joke. Look it up, Rodgers is not an automatic to win that game based on past history. Sure, he could have, but it’s quite possible that Donald would have been the difference as well.
It’s blatantly obvious that Peters is significantly less than 100%. The guy is limping out there. Anyone who doesn’t get this I remove from my qualified list. You know who you are.
Goff played well enough. I don’t like that he missed an easy throw to Woods late in the game, but otherwise he performed well in the face of a very tough defense, with tons of pressure in his face.
The OL did not have one of their better games for sure, but the holding penalty on Saffold killed a great play to Everett. I’ve seen Donald get held like that about 20 times this year and not get called. I didn’t realize it was holding until they called it on Saffold (Joking). Bad officiating.
Reynolds had a fine game, but we miss the short to intermediate mastery of Kupp. Goff needs to get the ball out quicker, and Kupp is a huge factor in making that happen.
Not sure why McVay didn’t call more screen plays to Gurley. Head scratcher with all the pressure they were putting on Goff.
We don’t have a guy I trust that can win a 50-50 ball. As good as Cooks is, it ain’t him. Goff doesn’t have the luxury of putting a ball up and expecting his guy to come up with it. Just not happening.
What can you say about Gurley. He’s the best in the business right now. As Goff said, Todd doesn’t want everyone to know how smart he is.
We played the best QB in the league with his team at its healthiest all season. That was the best I’ve seen the Packers play all year, especially their defense, and they had all their weapons up for the first time. We didn’t play our best and we still beat them and a hostile crowd.
Feels better to be a Rams fan than a Dodgers fan, and even better than being a Packers fan. To all those people in LA yesterday who weren’t rooting for the Rams, I say tough. And Dont go home mad, just go home.
