Excluding both the 49ers game and the Broncos game Gurley has 101 carries for 415 yards. So in those 5 games he averages 20 carries for 83 yards.

If Gurley had 5 more carries against SF and maintained his 4.2 average he would have had 20 carries for 84 yards.

So you are right - the 49er game was a typical game for Gurley outside of the Broncos game.
