I agree that Hyde passes the eyeball test and seems to be talented. But how has he not stuck with RB needy teams up 'til now? My impression is that he has short-term talent and will look good in spurts but doesn't have that something special that allows a RB to consistently produce.
As a short term fill-in for Fournette, great move by the Jaguars. As a big-contract starter, not sharing the load with their talented, fresh-legged rookie Chubb...bad move by the Browns. I think if you they'd done something like New Orleans has done with their RB's, they'd be in a lot better shape. 3 carries per game for Chubb is ridiculous and an indictment on that staff. Now, Chubb's going to have to carry the load and they've put all of their eggs in that basket. It's an unnecessary risk they didn't have to take.
