In fact, I believe his 5 year average was below 4.0, with his best being 4.1. Than Martz comes and he is a 5.5 ypc player.

We also have the dreadful 3.2 ypc year of Todd Gurley under Fisher and now look at Gurley. Look at the guy in Arizona, he is a mess now as a 3.2 ypc runner and just 2 years ago with Arians as a coach, he was a beast.
Hyde passes the eyeball test by a long shot and should be doing better than he is doing with that team and did well last year as well. A 5th round pick for that guy is a steal. His bad yards per carry is a product of coaching and a team that while they are improving are not quite there yet. My guess give him a few more games and he improve it as that team is getting better. Don't know about the coaching though.
