When an NFL team has the highest off-season expectations to win the SB because of how the organization went all in with their acquisitions, the shortcomings they've had even with a 5-0 record is as obvious as a bear shitting in the woods for us Rams fans that follow this team closely.
Even after a 5-0 start, nothing reported by this post is ground breaking news to Rams fans that know and follow this team inside out.
I'm not saying this report is pedestrian and wasn't worth posting, but there is no ground breaking news here that most of us Rams fans haven't figured out and observed on their own by watching the games.
It was a good write up and worth posting but there was nothing ground breaking here to most of us folks on this board.
Denver is the first of several games on the upcoming schedule that the Rams need show how they've taken steps to fix/correct on the defensive side of the ball. Injuries and all, three is no excuses for the points allowed when you have Donald, Suh and Brockers teaming up on the D-Line.
Lack of edge rushing is an issue but your coaches need to adjust correct when they're sharing film sessions with their groups.
The same can be said about the Patriots and Chiefs and a small handful of other SB contenders.
The Rams will either sink or swill correcting their problems in the few games.
Looking forward to seeing how the Rams perform in Denver.
