That's the same as saying nothing is impossible. Naturally that's true.
But to think that somehow in any rational, reasonable head to head evaluation by which one could reasonably assume an outcome ahead of time, the Hawks, Niners, and pretty much nobody but KC is a match for the Rams.
So unless the Rams go off the rails, they just have too much firepower for anyone to keep up.
And I think our D has a long way to go before they're at their best.
Remember: against the Vikes, Peters was maybe 80%; and Shields hasn't started a game in over 2 years. Cousins was as sharp as we've ever seen him, and they Vikes were angry and embarrassed from their butt whipping at the hands of the lowly Bills. And they showed it.
But still not enough to overcome the talent and performance of the Rams.
Rams were an excellent road team last year and will be coming off a mini-bye to play the Hawks who are now without their All-World FS Thomas and their starting TE on an already anemic offense.
Rams killed the Hawks in Seattle last year, and it wasn't a fluke. Rams will go in with confidence and the Hawks know they are in for a bad day.
Assuming Baldwin is back, you can bet Peters will guard him.
