I think he showed at CAL and is showing this season a genuine capacity for throwing NUMBERS of TDs. That's not easy to do in the NFL, but it isn't really all that easy in the PAC 12, either.
You know, we chat about reputation in the press and among fans. But here's the thing.
Goff has put those throws ON TAPE. They are facts, and players and coaches know they are real.
Assuming health (may the football gods smile on us!) there is no reason to expect him NOT to throw TDs as he did Thurs. on a regular basis.
He is real. And the league knows it, even if fans and pundits don't.
