Let's face it, there aren't many right now.
No problem....lack of pressure from the edge is definitely an issue.
The mistake might not have been letting Quinn go.... but not having an adequate replacement. They've gambled on unproven edge rushers and so far it's hurting them. It may have been a money issue or the fact that edge rushers are hard to find.....but they may end up regretting it in the end.
The problem is, they had to make a choice: Quinn vs. Talib and Peters. In an ideal world you have adequate, proven replacements ready to go before having to make that choice but rarely do we have the ideal.
But more importantly, I wonder about your assertion that it's hurting them so far. Is it really? Where is the damage?
