He's playing very well in Miami.
Yeah he played well at the end of the year last year too. The games before that, chances are he was beat up or recovering.
I said this already in another place but this is a good place to say it too. IF trading Quinn turns out to be an issue, to me it's an example of one possible fla in the Rams management hierarchy. It's possible they miss having a veteran, experienced team president type who has a tested vision of what kinds of moves to make to improve and sustain a team.
These guys are all young and all learning the hard way.
Except Wade, but I don't recall him ever being a team builder.
If you aren't a good experienced hand at that, it's possible you go after the next shiny bright thing.
...
Yeah, I think one possible flaw is that Snead is a bit of a loose cannon and there is no one to keep him in check. Right now it appears we would have been better off keeping Quinn and getting a cheaper run stuffer instead of Suh.
Where is the issue? They gave up a mere 23 to a good offense in San Diego.
This loose cannon Snead has overseen what looks at this early stage to be the best team in the NFL.
Apart from Quinn's injury history, which could still rear its ugly head as Sag alludes to above, he's not dominating this year or anything. He has 1, yes 1, sack on the season and 9 combined tackles. I'm not seeing the evidence to suggest that they should have kept Quinn.
