Let's face it, there aren't many right now.
No problem....lack of pressure from the edge is definitely an issue.
The mistake might not have been letting Quinn go.... but not having an adequate replacement. They've gambled on unproven edge rushers and so far it's hurting them. It may have been a money issue or the fact that edge rushers are hard to find.....but they may end up regretting it in the end.
The problem is, they were trading one thing for another.
They couldn't both get a replacement and/or keep Quinn AND have 2 stars at CB.
Are they robbing Peter to pay Paul?
Since they're winning this will not turn into the Rams Scandal of the Century. I don't think Max or I are forecasting doom or revealing a fatal error.
But, it's part of the fabric and worthy of discussion along with everything else.
