I'm probably a little shell-shocked from years on this board. 
I think there are myriad ways leadership is exhibited.. so no, I don't expect him to necessarily be 'fiery' or anything else. A LOT of leadership is built on a player proving himself, in tough situations... which Goff hasn't had many opportunities to do... so i'm certainly not saying he has no leadership 'in him'... I just don't think he's standing out in that regard.. YET. It's a characteristic in progress..and I think he's on track.
As for 'taking for granted'... I don't think so... but i'll give you this: I AM holding Goff to a higher standard... and the reason WHY I do that is because I actually DO think he has the ability to become all those things Saguaro listed.
