I haven't seen anything about the "Battle for LA" other than a blip here and there on the NFL network. I don't think the players, coaches, fans, general joe public on the street cares a wit about any supposed "Battle for LA". To the point of the post, I think everyone Rams related is only worried about winning the next game against a good team. So, with that, I'll launch into what I have to say about the "Battle".
From where I sit here in SoCal, they are giving away Rams tickets on the radio station, I see Rams gear in the stores, I see Rams billboards, commercials and our logo on anything that can be branded for a buck. God bless, it's the American Way... There is not much of a competition, and the marketing strategy of the Bolts is just pathetic. The NFL may have subsidized the Stadium for them, but they seem to be on their own in every other way, and it's kind of embarrassing they even put LA on them. It's too bad, they had a very loyal following down in SD, but I don't even know if a new owner would fix that. People hate them now there. Sure, I see a Bolt sticker here and there, a jersey every once in awhile. But to me, it's nothing like the Raiders presence here. Not even close. Never will be.
