Just to point out the obvious, averaging 30 points a game isn't the same thing as scoring 30 points every week. Last year, when the Rams averaged 29.9 points, they won some games 46-9, 33-0, 51-17, 33-7, and 42-7. They also lost games 27-20, 16-10, and 43-35. Granted, doing better in the red zone wouldn't have made a difference in any of those wins, but perhaps they could have turned a loss or two into wins if they could have punched a couple more TDs in.
