I think the point made about Gurley is a good one. McVay needs to ride that horse more in the red zone.
I did research and found that Brandon Cooks actually had I believe, 8 RZ tds with NE. So, there is your Watkins replacement.
You have to believe that if the Rams are 30th in RZ, they may find their way to the playoffs but will never find their way to the Super Bowl and likely never to a NFC Championship game.
And, as for the GSOT, you're talking about one of the greatest offensive machines in the history of the NFL. There are always exceptions. That said, I don't know how we were in the RZ as the GSOT. We were busy scores on 40+ yard plays.
Greg Zuerlein, not to take anything away from him, made the Pro Bowl because our offense was great between the 20's.
This offense, as good as it is, should be a top 10 RZ team. If it is, I pre-purchase my Super Bowl ticket.
