A road win- especially on MNF- should never be dismissed. It was a clear choice to go into this game with some rust to shake off. It was a choice McVay was willing to make. To come back from 7-0 and 13-10 deficits, make significant halftime adjustments, and end up with a solid win on the road was a great start. The Raiders are likely not a playoff team but they're also not one of the bottom 6 teams in the league either. They're a physical team with an excellent interior OL and a good QB that clearly came to play that night.
Winning on the road on MNF is always tough. It's why they always say to take the home under dog on Monday Nights.
