Rams Defense looked like crap - front seven was abused. Kiser was very disappointing - no push from Dline either. Holley the RB had a good first series - Allen was awful at QB - done with this charade for the night.
Today's athletes are much more savvy and smart than they were in the lunch pail, dirt and grit era. They understand that their bodies are their livelihoods and that they need to be treated as such. I run for a semi pro track team with a lot of young athletes and they have no problem skipping a practice or sitting out a meet if they are not feeling 100% or at least close to it.
