Donald wants to get the best deal he can get but wants to stay a Ram, and doesn't really mind missing training camp anyway; in which case, you draw negotiations out till just before the regular season starts, then come to terms just in time for the regular season.
Oh, as to the original question: Donald, hands down. He's the most disruptive defender in the NFL. And aside from the contract/compensation impasse --which you're gonna have with pretty much *any* truly great player in today's NFL-- is everything you want in a player.
