I know that I'm much, much happier now just to have the Rams be a competitor again.

BUT...the stakes are higher now, too.

The Rams had one heck of an offseason. It really looks like the elements are in place to put together a serious shot at a Super Bowl.

And therefore, I guess I just have a feeling now that I'd hate to see something small, like an inadequate backup QB, or a loss on opening weekend, cause them to stumble and maybe miss having home field advantage when it matters most.

When what I'm doing isn't very significant, like a casual hike or something, I don't sweat the details.
When it's something vital, I want everything to be right. Checking it twice.

I feel like every move the Rams make counts now. It's not the difference between 5-11 or 6-10 anymore.

It's bigger now. So yeah, I worry more at the same time that I'm happier.
