To me, Mannion looks slow, plodding, has a wind up like Goose Gossage, and lacks accuracy. He is not mobile in the pocket. The thing that is difficult to know is if he's able to follow his progressions because play to play it's pretty hard to know what they are.
I don't know if the issue is the cheap contract, or if McVay really sees something in him that we're not seeing.
But I'd sure hate for Mannion to have to sub for Goff for a game or two.
