I'm not sure stopping the run means as much as it used to BUT you have to be able to stop it when you want to. And the Rams could usually stack the box and stop it but there were times when they needed to shut down the opposition's ground attack and couldn't do it.
I agree that the defense's MO is turnovers. Pressure the QB and cause turnovers. Hopefully the Rams will play with the lead most of the time and force the pass game.
My brother is an Eagles fan (whole family actually) so I watched a lot of Eagles games. Reggie White was just a phenomenon. He had it all and that is an understatement.
