The man is under contract. If he is literally holding out, as you claim, for no other reason than to avoid injury, then he is not the guy the Rams want long term. The Rams are ultra careful with their stars. But avoiding practicing with the team, on his own, simply to prevent any injury possibility? Low down.

Let's hope that you are wrong. Because if you're right.....he's not the guy I thought (still think) he is.

He is in effect between contracts and has been since the Rams agreed to negotiate an extension. And it will be a huge contract too. Naturally he does not want to lose the opportunity to get a contract like that because of injury (injury jeopardizes his whole future not just one year).

Notice the Rams aren't taking your stance. They even waived all possible fines last year when he reported.

If I am Donald, and I look at the chance for a once in a lifetime contract, and I listen to your admonishments, which do I choose? Well IMO what he did do is the logical choice.
