as his speed slows down -- and it will as the hits pile up and the years go by -- Defensive players will start catching up with him more and the ball will pop out more.
Just my opinion. I know the stats, and i dont think they tell the story.
I think there are obviously different views on Tavon. Jerry Jones wanted him. McV didnt.
Tavon's a good guy. I wish him well.

I do trust the stats on this. I never saw him as a fumbler as a runner/receiver. And the stats back that.
I don't know what you mean about dribbling the ball out of bounds. He didn't do that as a runner...if he did it as a receiver, that';s not a fumble it's an incomplete and or drop.
If he slows down, no one uses him. His thing is speed. Subtract that and he has no reason to be on the field.
I agree that TA is a good guy and that it's good to wish him well.
.....
Well, I dont buy the notion that he has good ball security skills as a "runner" but lousy ball security skills on special teams and as a WR. What my eyeball sees is a football
player with poor ball security skills. We just evaluate him differently on ball-security.

Just to be precise, according to the numbers across 5 years he has lousy ball security as a returner, but not as a runner
or receiver.
And yes we can differ on that. Shrug.
That's kewl.
