Many were hoping the Rams could trade some of their later round picks for a pick a round higher in the 2019 draft
The fact is, those kind of trades just don't happen very often.
Yesterday there were one of that type. Of course it involved the Pats, who traded a 4 yesterday for a 3 in 2019.
They also made two other trades to receive 2019 picks. The traded down in the 7th and received a 7th in 2019. And they traded their 2nd round pick for a 4th yesterday and a 2nd in 2019. So they have an extra 2, 3, and 7th for 2019
