Awsome, thanks!
I like the 6th round guard. I think he fits our profile of size and pass blocking ability, and since he played tackle he certainly has good enough feet. Ya, I hope they sign Jamon Brown and Havenstein, but maybe this draft will give the Rams good depth.
Except for
Passion, Notebloom was the right pick. He has enough talent to start in the NFL at LT someday. He doesn't have a high motor, and plenty of guys are not tough, but if they have a motor that is enough. Whit, at LT, doesn't play so tough anymore, but he is going 100+ miles an hour. Without passion, I don't know how you play. Maybe he is just a depth guy for 2018-2021 type of thing, but at least he has the feet and some length.
The edge guys looks interesting. Hopefully they hit on one of them. The Steelers since about 1985 have played a 3-4 and have ALWAYS found edge guys in the 3-4th rounds; they find them even if they have to trade from them
(LOL, K Greene).
A LT, and Edge guy in 2019 and we can continue a 5-6 year run as a top 6-8 team, and get some super bowls, I hope....
but then, there is the Garrap effect, so I don't know how the Rams will do in the playoffs because we will be the wild card every year, lol. My joke may become reality, but I am thinking John Lynch is not really that good of a GM...just a simple man, very simple.....the Marty Schott of GMs, or actually Jeff Fisher, maybe.
