Not that I don’t understand your reaction. Heck, I kinda shared it at first, myself.
But after reading evals and doing some reflection, I see this as a solid strategy move. Noteboom may or may not be a future starter, but he definitely seems like a player worth investing a late 3rd in to add to this roster and with these coaches.
Last year the JJ and Ebu picks didn’t excite me all that much, either. Turns out that the coaches (and Snead) knew exactly what they were doing. Gotta trust them on this pick, too.
BTW, as zn has pointed out, the Rams have done quite well with their 3rd rounders lately, sooooo...
