Depends on one’s definition of a “need”, I suppose.
Two years into the future is an eternity in today’s NFL. Only one season removed and the Rams finished 4-12, as an example. And the Rams are settled in many important positions now for 2 years or more.
So, I think that it’s fair to say that our needs for ‘18 are few and far between. A clinic by S&M in utilizing trades and FA to fill holes prior to the draft. A dream scenario which will enable taking BPA’s and avoiding the pressure to reach. All while knowing our future cap is on solid ground.
I can’t remember when I’ve had more confidence in the Ram FO and coaching staff, tbh. Would have to go back to the Klosterman days, at least. And even then I’m not so sure that they deserved more confidence.
It’s a great feeling, that’s for sure.
