I think you're right. The Rams likely don't move up earlier than the Third, but if they did, it's probably into the Second. Very, very pricey to get into the First.
Now, if some team were in love with Tavon, and gave him a lot more "value" than the Rams appear to give him, that makes it all the easier. But it would really surprise me. They'd have to find a coupla guys like that to make a move, even into the Second.
So far, with a coupla of their recent trades, with Quinn and Ogletree, for example, I have a feeling it went the other way: The Rams thought they could get more for them than their own valuations. My own view is that both players were worth more than they got . . . though I get the argument about cap savings, etc.
