I think perhaps what's going on is that with the NFL ratings reduction over the past couple of years they are creating rivalries in fan bases from teams that have been successful in the past. Rams ARE good, 9ers MAY be good (but hey they get the benefit of the doubt because they won a bunch of Lombardis a few decades ago), so let's promote that and see what happens.

To me that dilutes what we did last year. I'll feel better after we smash the 9ers in their house in October
