He talks about having dinner with LaFleur at the Combine and asking him about Watkins. And the big reveal was that Watkins didn't get the job done that the Rams wanted. Kupp was getting the extra attention. Why? He didn't say more than the problem wasn't the scheme, it was the player and the player was Watkins.
Hey, I'm not defending Benoit. I'm on record as saying the guy is a hack. This is really for all those guys who listen to what Benoit says as legit. I was called out in earlier posts on questioning Benoit competency. Here you can be the judge.
Benoit says Cooks is a significant upgrade over Watkins. Have at it.
