Baldy uses the All-22 and he breaks down the protection, the route concept and the coverage and the throw. Baldy and Cosell are two of the "heads" that break down stuff and have spent their time at NFL Films watching the stuff.
The Cowherds, Baylesses, etc are the "talking heads" and they don't break down film.
As for what Baldy did, instead of people going personal, why don't they (a) agree with Baldy or (b) disagree with him and then say why they disagree.
Baldy confirmed what has been said by some about Watkins around here and totally blows away those who looked at the number of catches and yards and used that as a measuring stick of value.
The Chiefs looked at the film and gave Watkins big money. Reid is not stupid.
My view was this trade is a wash, Cooks will replace Watkins and will make, maybe, less money, maybe not in long run, I don't know. But the stats are not the factor it's the skill set and I said same thing as Baldy Watkins and Cooks are similar, Cooks, you get a bit more speed, Watkins, you get more strength and red zone abiity,.
So, it comes down to would you rather have Watkins and our 1st rounder this year or Cooks and a 4th rounder this year and a late 3rd next year?
