We have two attractions that the Patriots don't have. A huge untapped market in a warm location. An outstanding young coach who combines old school and new school values and is smart.
So if the Patriots have a Belichick and Brady core, and don't give anybody else more than $10 million, then we should do the same thing with the core that 43 mentioned (McVay, Snead, and Goff), and lift the $10 million ceiling accordingly as our LA and McVay advantages provide a little extra attraction.
That's assuming Goff pans out pretty well. I think he will.
