McVay is a spectacular coach. McVay's ability to create space for Gurley reminds me what Martz did for Faulk. It took him to another level. And he saved Goff's career after Fisher almost had him buried.
Also, The team went and got Whitworth to replace Robinson last season and picked up very good WRs last year so more excellent moves. This came after year after year hearing why the Rams couldn't do anything in those areas. So great job. In FACT:
I don't remember any problem solving done so well in 1 year across the NFL.
My point was since the Rams are picking #23, I be open to any position. Normally when the Rams were picking higher, I felt it was a waste to pick certain positions or players when the opportunity to get a playmaker was great. In this case, I would be open to an offensive tackle since it is so low in the 1st round. I would also be open to getting another good WR to provide a threat like Watkins.
The only other thing I think you could be alluding too is pointing out how bad the Rams are when trailing in the 4th quarter and the debacle against the Eagles late in the game. That is just something that needs to get better, but it doesn't take away from the overall great things the team did last year. Keep moving forward and fixing more. The Rams fixed a ton last season and I don't see any reason more can't be fixed in the upcoming season.
