A big play maker has tremendous value. Note, the Rams have only made the playoffs 6 times in the last 25-30 years and all 6 times, the Rams were strong at WR. The 20+ times the Rams did not make the playoffs, the Rams were weak at WR.
I do think draft picks are overrated and it is highly unlikely that the picks the Rams give us will have as much value has him, but
the question is if he is expensive it is more than the 2 picks. you also have to consider what do you give up because he takes a big chunk of the salary cap.
If it wasn't for the salary cap hit, I would say for sure, do it, but that part, I can't evaluate because I don't know cap impact.
