Peters for a 4th rounder and he cost under $2 Mil. He is an all pro
OBJ is a great talent but has been a problem for the Giants and wants $16 Mil. Somehow I think that 2 first rounders is over paying.
If you look at the Rams transactions they don't over pay.
I know that Goff trade seemed like a lot but really that was the market price for getting the number 1 pick and a franchise QB. It was a reasonable deal.
Name a player who is going to cost a lot and is a problem that has been traded for 2 first round pick in the last 10 years? It is why nobody ever gets taken once the are franchised, the cost is to great.
Should we try and get OBJ? Sure if the price is right. Will we be SB contenders without him? I think so. Would he make us better. Absolutely.
There are a lot of good reasons for us to go and get OBJ. A first this year and a 3rd next year still seems like a lot but if the deal gets done that is probably where they end up.
