McVay had a great 1st year. But ... he's still incredibly young. He really doesn't have a true track record extending through both ups and downs. I don't see how he can be so confident he can control veteran knuckleheads.

Maybe he can. Hope so. And he is a real talent as a leader.

But he cannot have the mileage to know he can hold delinquent veterans together.
