I don't know.
There's a claim right here on this very board that the Rams
have already offered the Giants this year's 1 and next year's 1.
So it seems to me that one of 3 things is true.
1. Even two 1st round picks isn't enough for the Giants (or at least not the Rams two picks). They want even more, and negotiations continue. Maybe waiting for another team's offer to see if it is better.
or
2. The Giants are ok with that compensation and ready to say yes. All that's holding up the deal is getting a contract extension for OBj.
or
3. The claim is incorrect. Hard to believe that would be the case when it was made so emphatically.
I'm just waiting to see how it pans out, but it's hard to reconcile that with the Rams just kinda poking around at it.
