i dont know if obj gets traded but this is all one-sided thinking much of which could have been said about peters before his trade to the rams.
there are 2 very good reasons he might get traded.
1. the giants ownership seems to have tired of him.
2. he seems adamant about getting paid next year. if the giants dont want to pay him (see number 1) then they ought to get something for him.
3. 2 #1s is the asking price. every buy a house? it depends on the market but you dont often pay the asking price.
4. per gary klein (who knew about the suh deal before it was announced per oldschool) mcvay is VERY interested in obj. if there interested if are willing to pay up to some price. 1 would suspect that they would offer this years 1 and a 3 next year (we have 3). maybe tavon too.
5. the rams have lots of cap space over the next 2 years to pay ad and obj, before goff and peters hit big money time. gurley might be trickier. but 1 thing to consider if you dont have this years and next years 1 (as well as last years 1) you IN THEORY have fewer guys that will get paid big time in 3 to 4 years from now so it may be feasible to take on objs contract demands.

Not too many sports guys think this is possible.
For one thing, for the Giants to give up on Beckham would be hard to digest. He is a great, young (25) player.
For another, he is the only Giants star in a market that needs star power.
For another, the Rams would have to give up one heck of a package that no doubt would involve more than the Rams 2018 and 2019 first rounders because they are relatively low first rounders. Not likely the Rams would give up that much.
Somebody is going to have to pay this guy something approaching $20 mil per year.
It all adds up to OBJ staying right where he is. I agree.
