Giants have very little leverage
he may hold out this year or part of the year
he is not going to resign with a rebuilding 4-12 team....Manning is done and even with a young QB, the Giants have a ways to go and play in the same division as the Eagles and Cowboys
so the Giants can trade him and get some value (multiple picks) , or let him play a partial season or 1 season with a basement dwelling rebuild and then he walks.
Giants probably get a 3rd rounder as compensatory pick.
Not saying the Rams will get him and I certainly don't think they give up 2 first rounders. I see maybe a 1st and one of the 3rds next year.
If I am the Giants, I trade him and get as much as I can and move on.
