Star players who can win endorsement contracts generally want to be in large markets. The bigger the market, the more from the endorsement.
And while oldsters like me look at LA and SoCal a little differently, younger guys like the vibe, the weather, and the celebrity and so for many of them it is a draw.
And let's face it; if you are Suh, and you fancy yourself as a businessman after you retire, it's hard to beat LA for that.
