... I agree with you: Rams would seem to have the best bet of those four teams. I also have to believe that playing next to AD, thinking about the havoc they could wreak together, would be appealing to Suh. OTOH, Suh has never been the second-best D-lineman on his own team - he could even be 3rd-best in LA - and presumably he'd be playing a bit out of position. I also wonder about the Rams' window. If Suh were to come, how long could they keep that D entirely intact before they become unable to pay guys who command big $?
Anyway, Suh/Donald/Brockers, if they can make it work, would be must-watch, for sure.
We don't know that he would be playing out if position.
We don't know what position Wade will want to put him at. Maybe he moves Brockers and Suh plays end.
That's the purpose of having a meeting.
If it's really all about winning, he shouldn't care where he ranks on the DL hierarchy. The main thing is, they would have a devastating DL to go with their ferocious secondary.
The way I see this, the Rams are going all in. They have 2 years to win a SB. After that, players start getting expensive.
After 2019, many of their top players may walk. So the D will probably only be in tact for 2 years.
