I don't know if the Rams made the right call. I'm torn...
I will say that I disagreed with their call to franchise Joyner over Watkins. I said Sammy was gone last week when they made that move.
But beyond that, I'm reassessing my belief system on the best strategy for handling their best players.
On one hand, over paying is not good.
On the other hand, I keep returning to one question: since we seem to overpay for our average players, why not do that for the above average ones?
