They have made two major errors in just the past year. We won't even throw in Austin.
1) Gave up 2nd rounder and player for a one year rental. If we get a 3rd round compensatory, it does squat to minimize this failure.
2) Unnecessarily signed Ogletree to an extension spending $6 million they didn't need to getting back a 4th and 6th.
All the trades and drafting in the world will not take this team to the championship if they don't fix this problem.

You're wrong. The Rams can't keep elite players: Dickerson and Bettis come immediately to mind. They seem to do fine with 2nd or 3rd tier players. So, the Rams still don't have a WR who commands respect and fear from a defense. And Tavon Austin still has that ridiculous contract.
The sad saga continues.
