I agree with the overall thrust of the post that the Rams are willing to take risks. But the phrase tame these two jumped out at me.
Maybe the Rams aren't worried about taming them.
They are both very strong personalities. They are both very passionate. But from what I've read, they were also both very beloved in the locker room.
Due to their strong personalities and passion, they both occasionally make waves.
It's possible the Rams aren't worried about taming or subduing that. Maybe they don't see that as an issue at all.
