Simply repeating the mantra that he does more more things and is a better receiver is not evidence, let alone proof, that he is.
You have no objective evidence because there isn't any. His measurable performance simply doesn't warrant the big bucks. And to pretend that the numbers don't matter? Of course they matter. The numbers are there as the only objective means to measure performance.
