Maybe. I was thinking of longacre as more of a placeholder until we can fill the position with an impact player. Harold Landry? Can Leighton Vander Esch play on the outside? Maybe they need to wait until 2019? If not they could resign barwin. In any even it almost seem like longacre and ebukan should switch positions.
Rams are in position to win now, and I do have to trust Wade and McVay, but a placeholder at an impact position is now what we need. We need impact now.
As far as Ebukan switching to weak side, I think that is perfectly doable. If they think HE is the impact WILL, by all means. He played SAM last year but I saw nothing that would keep him from being a WILL.
And Longacre, could be seen as similar to Barwin, except for experience and smarts... but I'd rather they re=sign Barwin to play SAM and but Samson at WILL
then Longacre could spell them.
