No since it's a roster bonus, not a signing bonus.
A roster bonus all counts against the cap in the year it is paid.
A signing bonus is spread over the life of a contract (up to 5 years). How that works for a plyer who is traded: Joe Player signs a 5-year deal with a $15M signing bonus. That bonus counts $3M against the cap in each of the 5 years (along with his salary). If he's traded with 3 years left the team is hit with $9M in dead money from the signing bonus. If that player is traded before June 1 then all $9M counts against that year's cap. If he is traded after June 1 then only $3M counts agaonst that year's cap and the other $6M goes against the cap for the following year.
A site that does a decent job of explaining that and a bunch of other cap stuff: [
