I think Watkins was a clear miss if comparing what was given for what we got. Gaines provided equal impact for less financial cost. Adding a second rounder made that a loss in my eyes.
With that said, they nailed most moves.
Well i can understand that view, but I dont share it. To me, based on what I've seen in the photos and the comments by posters who know a lot more about football than i do -- it just looks like Watkins fell into some sort of bermuda-triangle on his medium and long routes. He was Open but he disappeared, mysteriously from Goff's view.
So, though im not a hundred percent sure, I'm prettymuch persuaded that it wasnt Watkins that was the problem it was young Mr Goff.
I'd hang on to that Watkins guy, myself.
