And I think many FA’s is still a possibility. Maybe only one more top tier, but many second tier moves are likely.

The recent league wide trend toward one year signings alone makes this likely.

There’s only so many draft picks and trades possible. So, if a team wants to change itself quickly, it has to be active with FA moves. And they need to be shrewd ones. But, as we saw last year, shrewd second tier FA moves that are for good fits can yield dramatic results under quality coaches.

I mean, 4-12 to 11-5 in one season? Woulda been 12-4 if starters played in that last game. That’s pretty danged dramatic, huh?
