I agree that the tag should be used as a very last resort.

I disagree that AD’s alleged demand for an opt out should be rewarded. That is a slippery slope that leads to a place that no owner wants to go.

I predict that Joyner will be extended with a fair market contract and with very little drama.

If AD wants to be reasonable, he can be extended anytime he wants. The ball is in his court.
