Some of the excuses are valid but most of them are overblown.
A more simplistic view on Fisher is this:
He was as bad as it gets on offense
and almost every offensive player did better in other circumstances.
And when you see how bad Goff and Gurley were last year and how much they were when they had better coaching, it is eye opening.
Than throw in Keenum and Foles and it is a consistent pattern of players held back because of bad offensive coaching.
As I have said many times, Fisher gets some A's and Some B's in certain categories as a head coach, but he gets a F- on offense and that brings the GPA down to a C- which explains the
7-9 history of Jeff Fisher.
